We are keen to hear from an enthusiastic Registered Nurse who is excited about the prospect of working in a multi-specialty area with supported clinical development. 

About the Team/Service

The Nelson ICCU is a close and supportive team that works well together to provide the best outcomes for the patients and whānau that we care for. We have a nine bed unit that caters to ICU, Coronary Care and High Dependency patients and the successful candidate will provide care for all of these patients. Each day brings something new with opportunities to learn and grow. Our team has regular social gatherings that make the most of living in this beautiful area of New Zealand and we welcome new members to the team.

About You

• It is preferable that you have a minimum of two years recent acute nursing, or significant ICU experience.
• You must be available to work all shifts including Night Shifts.
• You will have well-developed acute care clinical skills and will value working collaboratively as a proactive and supportive team member, focused on achieving optimum health outcomes for patients requiring Intensive Care services.
• You will have adaptability in a dynamic rapidly changing work environment. 
•  Demonstrate a willingness to share professional knowledge and skills within the Intensive Care team.
