The role | Te tūnga
As a Senior Automation Test Analyst, you'll design, build, and maintain robust automated test solutions that support high-quality delivery across DIA's digital initiatives. You'll provide technical leadership in automation testing, working closely with internal delivery teams and external vendors.
Your work will span automated, integration, and performance testing, with a strong focus on embedding quality into CI/CD pipelines and strengthening governance and assurance. You'll help shape reusable frameworks, uplift testing capability across the practice, and contribute to continuous improvement.
An understanding of Artificial Intelligence in testing - including smarter automation, improved test coverage, and early risk identification, will support DIA's move toward more predictive, future-focused quality practices.
What you bring | Nōu te rourou
- Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining automation test suites using C#/.NET or Java
- Experience with Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit, or similar automation frameworks
- Proven testing experience across Dynamics 365, PowerApps, and integrated systems
- Experience integrating automated and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of performance testing planning, execution, and analysis
- Familiarity with Azure Test Plans, defect management, and test reporting
- Experience working in complex or multi-vendor delivery environments
- Understanding of AI concepts and their application to modern testing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor others and uplift capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure

The appointing range for this role $125,145 - 155,736, with the potential to appoint higher depending on level of experience.
