Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Clinical Practice Adviser to teach into the Master of Nursing Science and join Te Puna Hauora - School of Health on a two-year fixed-term, part-time (0.5 FTE) contract.

Key responsibilities:

• To coordinate HLTH 543 ' Prescribing Practicum.

• To coordinate HLTH 517 ' Diagnostics and Therapeutics.

• Participation in planning and development activities related to the Master of Nursing Science.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will be a motivated, student-focused individual, with experience in advanced nursing practice and supporting professional learning.

The successful applicant will'have completed Master's qualification and be a registered Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.'

Key requirements:

• A Master's degree (or equivalent).

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with a current practising certificate.

• Demonstrated evidence of some successful teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level.

• Demonstrated evidence of good oral and written communication skills.

• Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work with students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds.
