About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

This is a unique and challenging role, supporting administration employees who are often not only new to ACC, but also working in their first role in a corporate environment. They bring a fantastic customer focus but still learning the intricacies of working in an office environment.

As a Team Leader in our Manukau Administration team, key to your success will be your ability to guide your team and enable them to provide a proactive, efficient supportive service for our clients. Ensuring that our clients receive the right support to enable their effective rehabilitation and subsequent return to independence. You will be setting the expectations and the ACC behaviours to ensure their success.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $101287 and $119161 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% contribution required by you, optional life and income protection insurance, and the flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time, ensuring your financial security now and in retirement.

Important Skills | Nga Pūkenga Motuhake

  • Leadership experience in a customer focused or service delivery environment.
  • Proven ability to motivate operational teams to achieve customer outcomes using data and insights.
  • Experience coaching people to achieve results, adapting your approach to suit individual needs and styles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to make pragmatic decisions in complex and/or challenging situations.
  • The ability to create a high performing and highly engaged team.
  • A knowledge of Recovery Administration would be advantageous.
