As our Business Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the group’s operations. You’ll deliver high quality business support, advice and coordination — from monitoring and reporting on work programmes to managing group wide reporting.
You’ll support and help deliver planning and reporting to help the S&A Leadership Team make great decisions, manage risk and deliver assurance. You’ll also drive process improvements, support our risk management approach, provide training and guidance, and champion health, safety and wellbeing across the group.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment — you’ll adapt quickly, shift focus when needed and help keep the organisation moving forward.
Skills and Experience Required
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Proven experience in coordination and business advisory roles in large organisations
• Strong relationship building skills
• Excellent written and presentation skills
• Highly organised, with the ability to deliver accurate work under pressure
• Effective planning and multitasking skills
• Helpful but not essential: experience with government reporting
• Good political awareness and understanding of government processes
• Equivalent relevant experience essential
• Legal right to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand.
