  • Registered Nurse Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital
  • Fixed Term until April 2027, Part-Time 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE)

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiology Service, youll provide highquality, evidencebased care to patients and their whānau experiencing a range of cardiac conditions. Youll complete comprehensive assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, deliver clinical interventions, and support patients to understand and manage their health.

Each day brings variety - you may be monitoring cardiac patients, supporting diagnostic procedures, coordinating care with the wider clinical team, or ensuring seamless patient flow. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment where patient safety, communication and clinical excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

This is a rewarding role for a nurse who enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships and thrives in a fastpaced, specialist setting.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our Cardiology Service at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital is a supportive, skilled and collaborative team of nurses, doctors and allied health professionals. We work together to deliver safe, patientcentred cardiac care, supported by strong leadership and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

About you

As a Registered Nurse, you bring professionalism, strong clinical judgement and a compassionate approach to care. You will have:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in nursing practice.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent timemanagement and the ability to adapt in a busy clinical environment.

Desired:

  • A current PDRP portfolio.
  • At least two years of clinical experience.
