Permanent, Fulltime (40 hours per week)

About the Role
This Rotational Physiotherapy role is a permanent role based primarily at the Rotorua Hospital but there is a four-month rotation where you travel to Taupo hospital to work for 2-3 days per week. We have a robust Physiotherapy team where you will be part of a supportive and skilled multidisciplinary group. You will feel a strong sense of belonging, growth and will be able to explore innovative ways to offer physiotherapy services to the Taupo/Rotorua demographic.
The Role contributes across a variety of domains. Rotations may include:
- Acute wards: Medical, Surgical, Maternity, Orthopaedics, ED, Paediatrics, ICU, ED
- Rehabilitation: Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation in the Elderly Service Unit
- Outpatient MSK services
- Group programme facilitation and tailored clinical pathways
- Community services
This role includes:
- Structured rotations and fixed placements based on your interests
- Opportunity to expand your scope or deepen your specialty focus
- Supportive clinical backup and collaboration across Te Whatu Ora Lakes
- Weekend and on-call roster commitment

About you:
- Current APC holder (NZ Physiotherapy Board)
- 2+ years experience in hospital/community settings preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong clinical reasoning, confident autonomy, and collaborative spirit
