Property Coordinator at Government Communications Security Bureau, Wellington

Are you a highly organised admin pro with a knack for keeping projects on track? The Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) is looking for a Property Coordinator to support national property programmes and work alongside a collaborative, high‑performing team.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate & Administer: Manage diaries, emails, tasks and electronic filing for the Property team; keep lease, maintenance and compliance data up‑to‑date
- Support Projects: Prepare minutes, maintain documentation, assist project managers with budgets, purchase orders and invoices
- Contract & Financial Management: Help maintain the property services contract register and ensure timely renewals
- Stakeholder Relations: Build strong links with internal managers, external contractors and other government agencies
Who You Are
- Proven experience in administration/coordination, detail‑oriented and outcome‑focused
- Excellent time management; can juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with a collaborative, “customer first” attitude
- Confident using standard office software; bonus points for property management knowledge
- Hold a current NZ driver’s licence (and first‑aid certificate or willingness to obtain one)

Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.
You must:
- Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
- Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
- Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
