About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
We're looking for an experienced Change Manager to join our Design and Change Management Practice and support the successful delivery of complex, organisation'wide initiatives.
In this role, you'll work closely with programme and delivery teams to design, deliver and embed change to help people adopt new ways of working and realise intended benefits. You'll be comfortable operating across multiple initiatives, adapting your approach to suit context, pace, and stakeholder needs.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, within the Change Delivery team based in Wellington.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead the end'to'end change management for initiatives of varying size and complexity
- Develop and deliver practical change strategies, including impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, change plans and readiness activities
- Partner with programme leaders, delivery teams and business leaders to integrate change into delivery plans
- Developing and facilitating workshops both in person and online
- Design and deliver clear, engaging communications and engagement activities
- Identify and manage change risks, issues and dependencies
- Support leaders and teams through transition and adoption
- Measure and report on change outcomes and benefits realisation
- Contribute to consistent, fit'for'purpose change practices across the organisation
About you | Mōu
You're a pragmatic, resilient and people'focused change professional who can balance structure with flexibility. You're comfortable working in environments where priorities shift and can quickly build credibility with a wide range of stakeholders.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience delivering change within complex organisations or programmes
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong facilitation skills (both in person and online)
- Confidence working in ambiguity and fast'paced environments
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team contributor
- Experience in public sector, large enterprises, or regulated environments (desirable)
- Formal change management accreditation (e.g. APMG) (desirable)

The appointing salary range for this role is approximately $101,000 - $132,000 with appointment depending on skills and experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.
