Permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE/48 hours per fortnight)
Rostered shifts

About the Role

The Duty Nurse Manager role is based in the Integrated Operation Centre (IOC) and works alongside the IOC team to provide efficient, effective patient flow and clinical leadership of the Lakes hospital services in both Rotorua and Taupo hospitals, so that services are effectively meeting the needs of patients, attending practitioners, and staff. 

The work is varied and extremely rewarding, where no two days are the same. Hours will be rostered and rotating through all shifts.

About you

The successful applicant will have broad senior nursing experience, enhanced communication skills and the proven ability to problem solve. You will have sound computer skills and a working knowledge of Trendcare and Variance Response Management (VRM).
