About the Role

PAG Advisors play a pivotal role in shaping government’s response to issues that impact the lives of New Zealanders. Working at the heart of government, you will provide robust, evidence-based advice to decision-makers, navigate ambiguity, and drive solutions to complex challenges.

As a member of the PAG talent pool, you will be pre-screened and considered for roles currently available and as they arise. This approach ensures we can connect with exceptional talent like you when opportunities become available.

Our PAG Advisors come with a range of experience from a variety of industry sectors. We welcome applicants with a range of expertise and would love to hear from you if you have the following:

Experience in public sector machinery of government and policymaking is also highly valued.

The salary for PAG Advisor roles is competitive and will be relative to experience.

Security Requirements

To be eligible for these roles, you must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a Resident class visa. Alternatively, you must be a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada, or Australia with a 10-year checkable background. To find out more check your eligibility for a TOP SECRET security clearance.
