Causal Registered Nurse - Rhoda Read at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Waikato, Waikato

  • Rhoda Read Continuing Care - Morrinsville
  • Casual Registered Nurse, as and when required, no set hours per week, covering AM, PM and N shifts 
  • This role is for a nurse past their new graduate year

About the Role

Successful applicants must be available to work as a casual for rostered and rotating 8hr shifts 24/7 across all 7 days of the week

Applicants will need to have a passion to care in a kind and empathetic manner and be prepared to work in a busy and challenging environment.

About the Service

As part of the Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service, Rhoda Read cares mostly for post acute patients who have been inpatients at Waikato hospital and need time to recover prior to discharge home.

Rhoda Read has a rehabilitative focus.

 

About you

You will be:

  • passionate about caring and helping others
  • keen to be a team player
  • willing and able to work shifts covering 24/7 and including weekends and public holidays, sometimes at short notice
  • understanding that this role has no permanent hours per week attached

To be successful in this role you must have a current work permit and previous work experience in a New Zealand health care setting.
