CT/General Medical Imaging Technologist

Rotorua Hospital

Permanent, Fulltime

We are seeking a NZ Registered experienced CT/General MIT to join our supportive, enthusiastic, and professional Radiology team at Rotorua Hospital, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

About the Role

The positions would suit experienced CT /General MITs,

You will be required to participate in the out of hours evening and weekends shift roster with overnight cover coming from an on call service.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Rotorua Radiology boasts a modern department with a GE Apex Elite CT scanner, 4 DR rooms, two DR mobiles and two Flat Panel C-arms, Digital fluoroscopy, MRI, and Ultrasound services. There is also a Canon Prime SP CT at out Taupo hospital along with an Xray room. We are a friendly and social team with a great working environment.

The successful candidate will be working across CT and the General X-ray Department and taking part in the shift and on call roster.

About you

  • You must hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate, or have applied for registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board
  • CT experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given to the successful applicant
  • Be a good team player, friendly and approachable, flexible, able to work under pressure and communicate well with others.
  • Able to work autonomously and independently and demonstrate critical thinking.
  • Engagement in continued professional development and have a passion for the role
