About the Role

We are looking for a patient-care focused person for this Administrative role, primarily based in the Rangiora Sexual Health Clinic. The role may also include covering Administrative duties in Te Aka Tauawhi Tangata Womens Clinic, working within Sexual and Reproductive Health services, as needed.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The Rangiora Sexual Health Clinic provides comprehensive sexual health care to our local community. In this role, you will provide Administrative and Reception support in clinic, sharing this role within our existing Administrative team. In this Administrative role, you will often be the first contact for patients and will also provide crucial support to our doctors and nurses, and for day-to-day running of clinics.
In the Womens Clinic, you would provide Administrative support for multiple services: Abortion care, Miscarriage care, Amniocentesis Clinic, Preterm Birth Clinic, and the LARC (Contraception) Clinic. This Administrative role provides crucial support to our doctors and nurses, and for day-to-day running of clinics.

About you

As an Administrator within our Sexual and Reproductive Health team, it is crucial that you have the ability to work empathetically with a broad cross-section of individuals in sensitive and often personally difficult contexts, and this requires a high degree of respect for people, their privacy and for confidentiality.

You will need:

  • To be self-motivated and team-focused
  • To have excellent communication skills, both patient-facing and within the team
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office suite, and ideally already have familiarity with health specific software such as iPM, RCP, Winscribe and Indici
