The role | Te tūnga
As a Test Analyst, you will support the delivery of high'quality software by planning and executing testing activities across digital initiatives. Working closely with project teams, you will review requirements, design appropriate test coverage, execute tests, and identify and manage defects to ensure products meet agreed expectations.
You will contribute to test planning, documentation, and continuous improvement of testing practices, while also supporting and mentoring Entry Level Test Analysts. This role requires strong collaboration, clear communication with a wide range of stakeholders, and the ability to balance competing priorities to meet project deadlines.
What you bring | Nōu te rourou
- At least one year's experience in software testing, with a sound understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Strong test analysis skills, including the ability to review requirements and design effective test coverage
- Experience executing tests, managing defects, and contributing to test plans and testing documentation
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication and relationship'building skills, with the ability to clearly explain testing outcomes to a range of stakeholders
- The ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices
A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is required. ISTQB Foundation certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
