Are you looking for your first step into an administration role within the Government sector or maybe you are looking at re-entering the administration world where work flexibility is key.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our centralised coordination and administrative support team.
Our administrators work together to provide office administration and business support across Archives Library New Zealand, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. And working at the Department of Internal Affairs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders
What you bring | Nōu te rourou
We are looking for someone who is:
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
* Experienced in working with financial processes such as invoices, expenses, and purchase orders
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Deliver general administrative support across the Archives Library New Zealand
* Manage shared inboxes and team mailboxes, ensuring timely triage, allocation, and responses.
* Coordinate travel bookings and related logistics.
* Answer and manage incoming phone calls, directing enquiries and providing timely assistance.
* Assist with finance administration, including purchase orders, invoices, and expense processing.
* Booking and setting up rooms, organising catering and other logistics including minute taking
* Manage stationery orders.
* Assist with travel bookings.

The appointing range for this role is $60,648 - $69,312
