The primary responsibility for the MOSS is to work in the Clinical Decision Unit providing assessment, diagnosis and management to patients who present to the service. The MOSS will also have the opportunity to develop an acute clinic along with the service leaders. An understanding of community options and understanding of Hospital in the Home pathways is desirable. The MOSS works closely with other physicians and trainees at various levels of training, from PGY-1 to fellow level. This post is suitable for PGY3/4 + from the UK, in addition to US trained physicians requiring additional time to complete vocational training requirements for MCNZ.
