Administrator Reliever Surgical and Planned Care Services

Permanent, Full Time (1.0 fte)

Monday to Friday

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is a growing and changing environment and is providing the opportunity for a full time experienced administrator with at least five years intermediate level experience to join the Surgical and Planned Care Service team.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing relief cover for staff leave, and on a day to day basis you will be required to work in various areas to assist with the delivery of patient focused services that support the co-ordination of the patients pathway to surgery. Work areas include the preoperative assessment clinic, inpatient booking office and theatre reception.

About you

  • Are you an experienced administrator with at least five years intermediate level experience?
  • Have you worked in past roles where you enjoy the challenge of working in a busy team environment, enjoy variety in your work, adapt quickly, are wellorganised, and take pride in delivering highquality service?
  • The ability to relate well to people from diverse backgrounds is essential, and previous experience working in the health sector is an advantage.
