General Surgery Colorectal Fellow

Te Whatua Ora, Waitematā District

Full-time 1.0 FTE

With more than 640,000 people living in Te Whatua Ora, Waitematā District has the largest and second fastest growing population among all districts in New Zealand.

We employ around 8,800 people in more than 30 different locations in the northern and western parts of Auckland. Our main sites include North Shore Hospital on the shores of Lake Pupuke in Takapuna and Waitakere Hospital in West Auckland.

Your responsibilities will includeoutpatient clinics, elective and acute theatre sessions, endoscopy sessions and ward management, supervising junior medical staff. You will be required to participate in the after hours on call roster for General Surgery.

The candidate should have FRACS (or equivalent). Salaries and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the NZ Association of Salaried Medical Specialists collective agreement
