Registered Nurse - He Puna Waiora, Inpatient Unit | Adult Mental Heatlh

• Permanent Part-time positions 
• 0.6 FTE (48 hours per fortnight)
• Rostered shifts
• Based on the North Shore Hospital

Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse wanting to work in one of New Zealands newest and most advanced Adult Acute Inpatient Units? About us

He Puna Waiora meaning "a pool of wellness" is a 40 bed Adult Acute Inpatient Unit designed to provide a high level of flexibility in the use of acute beds. There are a number of sensory & comfort rooms with multiple lounges, relaxation and programme spaces for service users. 

We have an exciting and rewarding role in this facility where you will enjoy practising Nursing with a holistic approach, relish new innovative ways of treating and caring for service users and working proactively to reduce the need for seclusion and restraint.

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse, who: 

• Is proactive by constantly striving for a positive outcome for service users
• Naturally looks outside the square when it comes to service users
• Who is enthusiastic, flexible, driven and are ready to make a difference
• Has 3+ years experience in mental health with a current Annual Practising Certificate
• Is prepared to cover Waiatarau inpatient unit when required
