About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our dedicated critical care team at Whakatāne Hospital.

In this role, you will join a highly skilled, supportive team providing 24/7 medical cover. Our Acute Care Unit is an 11-bed facility, comprising a 6-bed Level 1 ICU/HDU/CCU alongside a 5-bed high-acuity area equipped with enhanced monitoring capabilities.

This position is offered on a fixed-term, part-time basis working 0.9 FTE.

About you

You are a clinical professional who thrives in high-acuity environments and prioritises patient-centric outcomes. You enjoy working collaboratively within a regional team, and will bring:

• Recent, relevant nursing experience within a critical care, high-dependency, or acute care setting.

• Current New Zealand Nursing Registration and an Annual Practising Certificate (APC)

• A flexible, positive mindset well-suited to the fast-paced demands of an ICU/HDU service
