About the Role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive Outpatient Department team, with a focus on fracture and orthopaedic conditions. This is a fast paced, patient centred environment where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care across the lifespan. 

About the Team 

Our Fracture Clinic team is a dedicated, multidisciplinary group committed to delivering high quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages. We work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, supporting both acute and elective outpatient needs. Guided by Health New Zealand - Hutt Valley values and clinical excellence, we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients and their whānau. 

You will bring:

• Experience as a Registered Nurse within the New Zealand healthcare setting.
• A strong nursing knowledge base and commitment to clinical excellence.
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, valuing each member's contribution to patient care.
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, whānau, and colleagues, including in high pressure situations.
• Respect for diverse backgrounds and a commitment to equitable, culturally appropriate care.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
• A caring, supportive approach to patients and their whānau throughout injury and recovery.
• Precision in documentation, assessment, and follow up to ensure safe and effective care.
• Critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgment.
• The ability to manage stress, support others, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• A willingness to stay current with best practice, new technologies, and evolving clinical guidelines.
