0.8 FTE permanent position (32hrs per week)

About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Administrator to join our Assessment & Brief Care Team within Mental Health Services. This role provides administrative support and clinical typing functions to the clinicians within the team enabling greater service efficiency and resource utilisation. The Administrator will also provide leave cover for other administration roles across Mental Health & Addiction Services. We are looking for applicants with a strong work ethic, eager to support the effective and efficient functioning of the team to best meet the needs of our whaiora/whānau.

 About you

Suitable candidates will have:

         Excellent customer services skills, communication skills under pressure and flexibility.

              Excellent medical typing skills and ability to quickly and accurately turn around clinical letters and meeting minutes to meet time constraints

         Proficient IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)

         Experience learning and navigating IT based systems, with preferred experience in a health care setting

         Significant general office-based skills and experience

              Sound knowledge of Equity principles, a commitment to bi-culturalism and demonstrable application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations.
