• Support patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures
• Permanent 0.7FTE (56 hours a fortnight)
• Working Monday to Friday between 0800- 1800, including half a day shifts.

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our surgical outpatient team that supports mainly orthopaedic outpatient services and supporting other services including gynaecology, general surgery, ENT, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, minor procedures and a preadmissions clinic.

This is a permanent position, working 56 hours a fortnight, rostered Monday to Friday between the hours of 0800-1800, including half a day shift to support Registered nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registrars and Senior Medical Officers.

You will bring the following skills and experience:

• Outpatient, Orthopaedics, surgical experience (preferred)
• A commitment to providing a quality service and being part of a high performing team
• Versatility and flexibility
• Current Registered Nurse registration and NZNC practising certificate

 This position would suit a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has great assessment and time management skills, is confident in their practice, can work autonomously and can relate well to a wide variety of stakeholders including patients, families and our multidisciplinary teams.
