We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced musculoskeletal & vestibular physiotherapist to join our outpatient team across Waitemata.

About the role

Our MSK service provides exposure to an incredibly diverse caseload, allowing clinicians to develop skills across a wide range of presentations including: 

- Complex musculoskeletal conditions

- Post-operative rehabilitation 
- Vestibular physiotherapy 
- Oncology rehabilitation 
- Chronic pain management 
- Amputee rehabilitation 
- Neurological presentation 

 

You'll work alongside experienced physiotherapists within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment while developing clinical reasoning and management skills for complex patients across the hospital system.

• Assessment and treatment of complex outpatient presentations
• Delivering evidence-based, patient and whānau-centred physiotherapy care
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Supporting service improvement and innovation initiatives
• Promoting the role of physiotherapy across the organisation and wider community
• Contributing to the development of colleagues and physiotherapy services

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of two years' experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy within an outpatient setting
• Demonstrated advanced clinical assessment and management skills for complex musculoskeletal conditions, including chronic presentations
• Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• A proactive, self-motivated, and reliable approach to practice
• Experience facilitating interdisciplinary teamwork
