About the Team/Service/Location

Bethlehem Birthing Centre provides holistic, whānau centred maternity care in a welcoming environment designed to support safe and positive birth experiences. As part of our passionate and experienced maternity team, you will work alongside colleagues who value kindness, collaboration, and clinical excellence. Based in Tauranga, you will enjoy an outstanding lifestyle in one of New Zealands most sought after coastal regions.

About You

You are a skilled compassionate Registered Midwife who is passionate about providing safe, respectful, and culturally responsive maternity care. You build trusted relationships with women, babies, and their whānau, and enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team. Committed to clinical excellence and continuous professional development, you are motivated by making a positive difference throughout every stage of the maternity journey.

What you will bring:

  • Current registration with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Sound clinical judgement and a commitment to providing safe, high quality maternity care
  • Experience delivering antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to whānau centred, culturally safe maternity care
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development
