The Hospital Operations Directorate is committed to the delivery of sustainable, high quality healthcare with a key focus on developing and supporting clinical teams through a culture of safety and excellence. We have an exciting new opportunity for you to join us and make a real difference in our service in the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Transit Hub. This is a new role- workin gin a dynamic, supportive team environement that plays a crucial role in supporting patient flow across the whole organisation

In this role you will be 

• Providing senior leadership to the kaimahi (including RNs and HCAs) within the Transit Hub team, predominantly in the after hours space (afternoons, nights and weekends) 

• Helping support the Transit care Hub team with efficient patient flow, safe staffing and clinical support 

• Working collaboratively with the Transit Hub Charge Nurse, Hospital Operations Nurse Unit Manager and the Clinical Nurse Manager Team 

• You will be key in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of clinical nursing care to patients and their whānau 

• On a daily basis you will be demonstrating clinical and professional leadership, leading and supporting our nursing teams in all aspects of nursing care management within the areas they are working for a relevant shift.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills 

We need Nurses to help us support our people within the Hospital Operations Directorate 

• Hold a current New Zealand Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate (APC)? 

• Minimum Level 3 practice or minimum of three (3) years experience in tertiary health care 

• You will have proven management skills and a commitment to continually improve the quality of care provided at an operational level.
