About the Role
Join the Radiology team at Tauranga Hospital and contribute to delivering a seamless, safe experience for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting patients through ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy procedures. In the role, you will be responsible for providing patient education, supporting Radiologists during procedures, ensuring IV access is established and delivering compassionate care with a strong focus on safety and comfort.
You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, engaging with Radiologists, Radiographers, and support staff to uphold high standards in diagnostic services.
This is a fixed term opportunity covering parental leave, working 32 hours per week. This contract is offered until April 2027.

About You
You will be a calm, adaptable Registered Nurse with sound clinical judgement and a genuine focus on patient wellbeing. Respectful communication, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards of care are essential in this role.
What you will bring:
- Current NZNC registration and Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in acute or procedural nursing (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care
