About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
Enterprise Procurement supports ACC to make sound, defensible commercial decisions when buying goods and services. We work with business teams across the full procurement and contract lifecycle, from early planning through to contract management and review. Our focus is on helping the business get better outcomes, manage risk appropriately, and meet ACC's policy and government obligations.
As the Procurement Assurance Advisor, you'll help keep Enterprise Procurement running smoothly by making sure information is organised, reporting and deliverables are on track, and key obligations aren't missed.
The role is practical and varied, with a strong focus on coordination, organisation, and follow'through.
Your work will include:
- Maintaining and improving templates, trackers, and tools, including SharePoint and our internal system.
- Coordinating regular and ad'hoc reporting, tracking inputs, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring data is accurate and delivered on time.
- Supporting assurance, risk, and audit activity, including compliance monitoring and spot checks.
- Coordinating responses to OIA requests, Parliamentary questions, and Select Committee questions.
- Supporting team engagement activities such as surveys, workshops, and feedback summaries.
This is a permanent role, based in Wellington.
The appointing salary for this role is $67,442 - $82,430 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

- Experience in assurance, monitoring, compliance, or reporting activities.
- Experience working within a commercial, corporate, procurement, or governance environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to prioritise, plan, and coordinate competing activities to achieve outcomes.
- Strong written communication skills and experience preparing reports and audit information.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, collaboration, and personal accountability.
