About the Role
Taumarunui Hospital provides Emergency Department services, a 10bed inpatient unit, and outpatient care. In this role, you will support these services by ensuring smooth daytoday operations and delivering excellent customer service.
This is a fastpaced and varied position where you will be at the frontline of patient care welcoming patients and their whānau, assisting clinical staff, and helping maintain an efficient and supportive environment.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Welldeveloped clerical skills; healthcare administration experience is an advantage
- Excellent timemanagement and organisational skills
- Empathy and a calm, composed approach
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
