About the Role

Are you a passionate and adaptable Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in a rural healthcare setting? Tokoroa Hospital is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our inpatient ward team.

Our inpatient ward provides care to a diverse range of patients, including adults requiring acute medical treatment and those recovering from surgery. This varied clinical environment offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your assessment, clinical decision-making, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills while delivering high-quality patient-centred care.

As part of our dedicated team, you will work alongside experienced nursing, medical, and allied health professionals to support patients through their recovery journey. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, monitoring patient progress, coordinating discharge planning, and contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

• Current Nursing Council of New Zealand registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• A minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse
• A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, equity and providing culturally safe, patient-centred care.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, sound clinical judgement and the ability to manage complex patient needs.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

An orientation program will be provided, and the start date can be negotiated
