Registered Nurse - Marinoto North, Child & Youth Mental Health Service

• Monday -Friday
• Based in Takapuna

About the Team

The Marinoto North Child & Youth Mental Health Team offers expert assessment and treatment to clients across the age range from 4 to 18 years. We are currently looking for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team who will be based at our Takapuna premises. Our service delivery model is CAPA, the Choice and Partnership Approach and you can discover more about this at www.capa.co.uk

About You

If you're an experienced, self-motivated, mental health professional who can work in an acute-focussed environment and with the sense of humour and strength of character to make a positive difference to vulnerable young people, we'd like you to join our dynamic multi skilled team that value being connected to our community to deliver the best care for everyone.

Essentials:

• Experience in Child and Youth Mental Health Nursing

• NZ registration (comp), with a Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health

• Current APC

• Full Drivers Licence

• Your strengths include providing empathy, a sense of humour, a team player, excellent communication skills verbal and written.
• Your values align with Te Whatu Ora Waitemata of connected, everyone matters, compassion, better, best brilliant
• Your knowledge and skills include risk assessment and management, brief intervention, distress tolerance
• You enjoy working with young people and their families.
