As an Associate Clinical Charge Nurse (ACCN), variety will be part of your everyday and no two days will be the same.

This is a dynamic and positive role which requires passion and enthusiasm for managing a constantly changing environment and interesting and challenging situations, utilising a variety of innovative approaches.

 In this position, you will work closely alongside the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to provide clinical oversight and ensure professional practice and patient safety meet the highest possible standards.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse holding a current Annual Practicing Certificate from the New Zealand Nursing Council, with a commitment to ongoing postgraduate study. You should have at least five years of post-registration nursing experience with contemporary clinical practice, along with demonstrated skills in team leadership and people management.

We are looking for someone who is confident, adaptable, and dedicated to clinical excellence and effective teamwork. Flexibility is essential, as this role requires working across a full roster of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7 coverage.
